ย้อนกลับไปในปี 2022 Charles ได้ร่วมให้เสียงพากย์ตัวละครในภาพยนตร์แอนิเมชันของ Disney & Pixar เรื่อง ‘Lightyear’ (ฉบับพากย์ภาษาอิตาลี) ซึ่งภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้กลายเป็นกระแสและถูกพูดถึงอย่างมากจากฉากความสัมพันธ์และจูบระหว่างตัวละครหญิงรักหญิง
เมื่อเขาถูกถามถึงความคิดเห็นเกี่ยวกับคู่รัก LGBTQ+ ที่ปรากฏอยู่ในภาพยนตร์เรื่องนี้ Charles ก็ได้ให้คำตอบที่ทรงพลัง ซาบซึ้ง และได้ใจแฟนๆ ทั่วโลกไปเต็มๆ ว่า:
